Well, today I cleaned out the spice cabinet. For some strange reason I have been putting this off.
Did you know that many spices only last around 3-4 months. Yep, I have been putting cleaning out the cabinet due to "Completely" having to throw Most if it out!
Some companies put and expire date on the container and then there are the containers that have no date on them. Remember this saying: When cleaning out, if in doubt, throw it out!
So now, I must head to the grocery store and stock my spice cabinet again. Only this "thyme" Hahaha
I am only getting what I use daily. I will wait until I pull out a recipe that requires a "Fresh" spice, and purchase it then.

Well, I am getting a late start this morning. I attended a Breakfast Social at my children's elementary school this morning. Met several moms, and shared info with them. I love meeting New People!
Today I washed the Front door of my house! Yes, I said Front Door. It was filthy. It is one of those thing that you never think about cleaning, and this is why I started this Blog.
The Front door is the Gateway to your home. When opened it represents a welcoming. When decorated it shows that the owners are full of spirit and life. It's purpose is for protection. So next time you open your front door, look at it. Does it need a wash? I bet it does.
Have a Sparkling day!

It's SO hard to fold the laundry when the Pug is sleeping on them.
Well, they are not going to LOAD themselves!
Opening this blog today and wondering who else out there is thinking about what they have to do to their house today.
I really need to fold 5 loads of clean laundry and reload the dishwasher.
Everyday it seems to be the same old things. You clean, organize and get the house to the way it needs to be. You have put your heart and soul into taking pride in how you have spent your day. Then, it is that time again... the kids come home from school and no matter what you have asked them to do, they walk on that clean floor, they drop their bags and papers fly everywhere. They and the dogs are all excited to go outside!
"What just happened?" This is my life. I love it, don't get me wrong. Not for 1 second would I change it, or would I?
So, if there is anyone else out there who wants to share what they did today to their home, come on Write on my Blog. I would love to hear what you did and give you praise and appreciation!
     Thanks... Happy at Home!
